Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced the discovery of substantial oil and gas reserves from Dars West Well No. 2, located in the Tando Allahyar district of Sindh.
According to a statement issued by OGDCL, the company holds a 77.5% operational interest in the well, while GHPL holds the remaining 22.5%. The well was drilled to a depth of 2081 meters, resulting in this significant hydrocarbon discovery.
The production from Dars West Well No. 2 stands at 8.51 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD) and 360 barrels of crude oil per day. These results were achieved from the Lower Goru C Sand zone at a wellhead flowing pressure of 1947 PSI, using a choke size of 32/64 inches.
