Four mutilated bodies were recovered on Sunday from the mountainous region of Buleda in Balochistan’s Kech district. According to officials, the victims had been missing for about a week.
As reported by Dawn, the victims’ families stated that they had gone to the Jardain area of Buleda for recreation but never returned. Residents later spotted the bodies and informed the authorities, prompting Levies personnel to reach the site and shift the bodies to a nearby hospital.
The deceased were identified as Zakir, Abdul Razzaq, Sadiq, and Peer Jan. Three of them were residents of Buleda’s Zardan Koha area, while the fourth belonged to Jardain Bazaar.
Officials said the bodies were severely mutilated, and the victims’ motorcycles were found burnt and destroyed. The families have arrived to claim the bodies.
Young Man Killed in Tump Firing Incident
In a separate incident, unidentified assailants opened fire on a father and son traveling by motorcycle in the Tump area of Kech district on Sunday evening. The son, identified as Abdul Rehman, was killed on the spot, while the attackers managed to escape.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown, and the Levies Force has launched an investigation. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
