The United Kingdom has announced new sanctions against Iranian individuals and an entity over alleged serious human rights violations. According to a news agency report from London, the British government has added 10 Iranian individuals and one organization to its sanctions list.
The UK government stated that the sanctions were imposed due to the involvement of these individuals and the entity in grave human rights abuses. Officials emphasized that the measures are part of Britain’s commitment to holding accountable those responsible for violating fundamental human rights.
Under the sanctions, all assets held in the United Kingdom by the listed individuals and the entity will be frozen, and those sanctioned will also be barred from traveling to the UK.
