Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has reiterated in response to tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border that no one will be allowed to snatch Pakistan’s peace. He stated that Pakistan has consistently sought to resolve matters through dialogue and diplomacy, but there will be no compromise on national security.
In his remarks, Talal Chaudhry said that Pakistan is currently responding to actions attributed to the Afghan Taliban regime. He emphasized that any attempt to destabilize the country will not be tolerated.
Speaking in a private television program, he said that even a country like India, equipped with military power, aircraft, and advanced weapons, faced consequences. He stressed that bomb blasts in Pakistan’s markets and mosques cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
Talal Chaudhry further stated that Pakistan will go to every extent to ensure the peace and security of its people, and Afghanistan must become a peaceful neighbor. According to him, from China to the United States, the international community also has concerns regarding Afghanistan.
He concluded that Pakistan, as a responsible state, is fulfilling its role and that terrorism will be eradicated in all circumstances, regardless of the measures required.
