A tragic incident occurred in the Bhagtanwala area near Sargodha, where a man allegedly killed his wife and five children with an axe.
According to police officials, initial reports suggest that the suspect suspected his daughter’s character, which allegedly led him to attack his family. He reportedly killed his four sons, one daughter, and his wife using an axe.
Police stated that after committing the crime, the suspect also injured himself and was shifted to a hospital in critical condition.
Authorities said the suspect is seriously injured and will be interrogated once his condition stabilizes to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims have been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examination. The ages of the deceased children ranged between one and sixteen years.
