A high-level Iranian delegation has arrived in Islamabad to participate in key negotiations with the United States, marking an important development in ongoing diplomatic efforts.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Iranian delegation is led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, while Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is also part of the delegation.
The delegation was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also present at the reception.
The spokesperson stated that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar expressed hope that the parties would move forward with constructive dialogue and achieve positive outcomes.
Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to continue facilitating efforts for a sustainable and lasting resolution of the conflict.
