US President Donald Trump advised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to adopt a cautious approach regarding Lebanon, suggesting that Israel should avoid a full-scale war and instead carry out limited, targeted operations to prevent further escalation.
According to US media reports, Trump conveyed to the Israeli leadership that a broader conflict against Lebanon could destabilize the region further, and therefore, it would be more appropriate to restrict actions to precise and controlled operations.
Earlier, while speaking during a meeting with American astronauts, Trump also made significant claims regarding Iran, stating that the United States had inflicted major damage on Iran’s air force.
He further claimed that approximately 82 percent of Iran’s missiles had been destroyed, reducing its capability to manufacture missiles, while emphasizing that the situation continues to be closely monitored.
