The government has decided to introduce a home delivery service for passports to make the process more convenient for citizens.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Muhammad Ali Randhawa, where officials reviewed progress on the Immigration and Passports digital application and related reforms.
According to officials, a new passport delivery service will allow citizens to receive their passports at their doorstep, reducing the need for repeated visits to passport offices.
Authorities said that the new procedures and operational guidelines for passport delivery have been finalized, while further details regarding the launch of the service are expected soon.
The initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize passport services, expand digital access, and improve public service delivery across the country.
Officials believe the move will make passport-related services more efficient, accessible, and user-friendly for citizens.
