The government has revised fuel prices, increasing the price of high-speed diesel by Rs2.24 per litre while reducing the price of petrol by 75 paisas per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the new price of diesel has been fixed at Rs390.62 per litre, while the price of petrol has been reduced to Rs335.06 per litre.
The revised rates came into effect on July 30.
The latest adjustment follows an earlier increase announced a day ago, when the government raised diesel prices by Rs1.55 per litre and petrol prices by Rs1.63 per litre.
The changes come amid continuing fluctuations in global crude oil prices.
