Karachi: Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has taken a swipe at Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal, saying he gets angry and should take care of his health.
Speaking to the media in Karachi, Wahab said there was a time when people claimed the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) lacked powers. He said the laws and powers remained the same, but the leadership had changed and work was now visible across the city.
He said the KMC would build roads in every district and town of Karachi to facilitate residents.
Responding to Mustafa Kamal’s remarks, Wahab said Kamal had challenged him to come into the field, adding that he was already working on the ground.
The Karachi mayor said Mustafa Kamal held press conferences while sitting in air-conditioned rooms and visited Karachi only once a week.
“Mustafa Kamal gets angry. He should take care of his health — after all, he is the health minister,” Wahab said.
