The government has approved an increase in the price of petrol by Rs 13.55 per litre. The new price of petrol per liter has gone up to Rs 272 89 paise.
The Federal Ministry of Finance has issued a notification regarding changes in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by 13 rupees 55 paise per litre, after which the new price of petrol has become 272 rupees 89 paise per litre.
An increase in the price of diesel by Rs 2.75 per liter has been approved, after the increase, the new price of diesel has become Rs 278.96 per litre.
After a reduction of 24 paise, the new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs 186 62 paise per litre.
With an increase of Rs 2.3 paise, the new price of light diesel oil has been fixed at Rs 166.86 paise per litre.
The caretaker prime minister has approved the new prices of petroleum products.
