Netflix India’s web series “Heera Mandi” features Bollywood actress Sharmeen Segal playing the role of “Alam Zaib.” Despite being the niece of renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, she claimed to have auditioned 16 times for the role.
During a recent episode of The Kapil Show, Sharmeen Segal surprised viewers by revealing along with other cast members of Heera mandi that she had to audition for the role of ‘Alam Zaib’ despite being Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece.
The 28-year-old actress said that she gave 16 auditions for the role in a year.
