Summer vacations have been announced in educational institutions of Punjab province from June 1. It has been stated in the issued post that there will be holidays from June 1 in all private and government schools across the province.
All educational institutions across the province will remain closed till August 14, after the summer vacation, educational activities will start in schools from August 15.
Timings of federal educational institutions changed due to increase in heat intensity
The education minister said that they are considering changing the school hours from 7 am to 11.30 am.
He said that if the heat wave intensified, the option of closing these schools in the last 5 days of May is also under consideration, in the first phase, they are going to reduce the school hours.
