Six more jail employees have been arrested on charges of facilitating and sending messages to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in Adiala Jail.
Sources reveal that security agencies have taken six individuals, including two women, into custody. The detained employees include two female wardens, sweepers, and personnel responsible for camera security checks.
It has been reported that the mobile phones used by these employees have also been confiscated. The female staff at the jail has been implicated in facilitating Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Since August 14, a total of 13 individuals have been detained for their involvement in this facilitation.
Additionally, details of Imran Khan’s breakfast in Adiala Jail yesterday have come to light. He was provided with a meal that included Tham Malinga seeds, Gondkatira beet juice, and an omelet made from two local eggs. Imran Khan receives meals of his choice three times a day, prepared by two laborers who are expert cooks.
It is noteworthy that on August 14, security agencies detained former Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Muhammad Akram, on charges of allegedly facilitating and abusing his powers for Imran Khan.
Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram is accused of secretly conveying messages, providing facilitation, and exceeding his authority for the PTI founder.
Imran Khan, who has been convicted in various cases, including the Toshakhana case, is currently imprisoned in Adiala Jail.
