Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced nationwide protests and sit-ins on September 29 due to the non-implementation of the demands.
Addressing the news conference, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that dharnas will be allowed on the highways across the country. Our movement aims to give relief to the people. The prices should be reduced, and Jamaat-e-Islami’s “Right to two people” movement continues.
It should be remembered that Jamaat-e-Islami staged a dharna in Rawalpindi to reduce electricity prices and terminate contracts with IPPs.
