The two-match series’ second and final Test match between Pakistan and South Africa will be held from January 3 to 7 at Newlands, Cape Town.
South Africa leads the two-match series 0-1. The Proteas defeated Pakistan by two wickets in the Centurion Test.
Pakistan’s team is expected to change, with left-arm fast bowler Mir Hamza likely to replace Aamir Jamal in the eleven-member squad.
Aamir Jamal took two wickets in the first innings of the Centurion Test but faced criticism for bowling just one over in the second innings.
South Africa had defeated Pakistan in the T20 series, while Pakistan claimed victory in the ODI series, sweeping South Africa 3-0.
South Africa will also aim to win the second Test match, while Pakistan will make every effort to win the second Test to level the series.
