ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has withdrawn its request to form a full court in the Supreme Court in the suo motu case regarding provincial elections.
PPP lawyer Farooq H. Naik said that the five-member bench will continue the proceedings. After the completion of the arguments of the Attorney General, PP’s lawyer Farooq H. Naik has started the arguments.
It should be noted that the PDM government had objected to the presence of Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi and Justice Ijazul Ahsan involved in the Supreme Court’s suo motu case. On their separation, the three parties have expressed confidence in the five-member bench. .
