The Ramadan moon is expected to be sighted in Saudi Arabia on Friday evening, and the kingdom has also announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
If the moon is sighted on Friday, the first fast will be observed on Saturday, March 1. However, if the moon is not sighted, the first fast will fall on Sunday, March 2. During Ramadan, banks in the kingdom will remain open from 10 AM to 4 PM for the public.
Eid-ul-Fitr holidays in Saudi Arabia will begin on Sunday, March 30 (1st Shawwal), and will continue until Wednesday, April 2 (4th Shawwal).
