Sindh government spokesperson Sadia Javed has stated that 14 to 15 individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident of setting dumpers on fire in Karachi. She said that, following the incident, the SHOs of two police stations, FB Area and Yousuf Plaza, have been suspended.
According to Sadia Javed, dumper owners had been given a three-month deadline to install trackers in their vehicles and place safety guards around the wheels to help prevent accidents and loss of life.
