Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that China is a reliable and trusted friend of Pakistan, one that has always stood by the country in every difficult moment. He added that relations between Pakistan and China are based on mutual trust and respect.
Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during which both sides held discussions on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both countries agreed to further strengthen cooperation in counterterrorism and security to respond more effectively to shared security challenges.
The Chinese ambassador condemned the suicide attack that took place in Islamabad and expressed condolences over the loss of precious lives.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan is the country most affected by terrorism and continues to take consistent measures to eliminate this threat.
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong stated that the spokesperson of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also condemned the incident, and China will continue to extend full cooperation to Pakistan.
