Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stated that there is a zero-tolerance policy regarding threats to national security, and the protection of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity remains the Pakistan Army’s foremost mission.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison, where he was given a comprehensive briefing on operational preparedness, security conditions, and professional readiness of the formation.
ISPR said the Field Marshal also observed training exercises conducted under the formation and emphasized the importance of adopting innovation and modern approaches in preparation for future warfare. He appreciated the sports and recreational facilities provided to the troops, highlighting their role in maintaining morale and physical fitness.
During the visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir also inspected the High Care Centre at CMH Lahore and commended the medical staff and administration for their dedicated services and high standards of patient care.
Addressing officers at the Lahore Garrison, the Chief of Defence Forces reiterated that the Pakistan Army remains fully committed to countering all challenges and will not compromise on national security. He said the armed forces stand resolute in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability.
He further stated that the Pakistan Army possesses strong capabilities to adapt to modern requirements, adding that the physical fitness and morale of soldiers remain a top priority, while discipline, professionalism, and selfless national service will continue to be upheld.
