Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that all necessary facilities will be provided to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in Sindh, but no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
In a statement, Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Shah said that Sohail Afridi is permitted to carry out political activities in Sindh and that permission is being granted for a public gathering at Bagh-e-Jinnah. He added that the Sindh government believes in allowing political activities within the constitutional and legal framework.
Meanwhile, Sharjeel Memon reiterated that Sohail Afridi would be given full cooperation regarding movement and other lawful matters, stressing that any violation of the law would not be tolerated.
Separately, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar thanked the Sindh government for its welcome and cooperation, stating that the party would continue its political activities while fully adhering to the law.
