President Asif Ali Zardari has approved a special allowance for Additional Attorneys General who have served for a long period.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency, the President signed the summary on the advice of the Prime Minister, formally approving the special allowance. The move aims to acknowledge and appreciate the professional services rendered by senior law officers.
The statement further said that amendments have also been approved in the terms and conditions of service for Additional, Deputy, and Assistant Attorneys General to streamline the legal administrative framework.
Under the amendment, a “Special Additional AG Allowance” has been introduced specifically for Additional Attorneys General who have completed extended service.
