Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has stated that Pakistan is steadily progressing toward development and that no one can hinder the country’s forward momentum, as positive national progress continues.
Addressing the first Iftar dinner held under the title “Umeed Ramadan,” the Governor said that the Italian Consul General, who attended as the chief guest, also observed the fast and broke it alongside other participants, describing it as a gesture of interfaith harmony and mutual respect.
Kamran Khan Tessori further stated that the Italian Consul General conducted a lucky draw during the event, in which a 120-square-yard plot was awarded to Nazia Imtiaz, prompting expressions of joy among attendees.
He added that through the draw, Azizullah and Syeda Konain were granted Umrah tickets, while renowned naat reciters Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi and Khawar Naqshbandi presented devotional poetry, adding a spiritual atmosphere to the gathering.
