Police and law enforcement agencies carried out operations in Karachi and Rawalpindi, taking multiple Afghan nationals into custody. Authorities stated that the actions were conducted in accordance with security requirements and legal procedures.
In Karachi’s South District, police, Rangers, and the Counter Terrorism Department conducted a joint operation and detained two Afghan nationals. According to the SSP South, the detained individuals will be shifted to a transit camp for further processing and verification of their legal status.
Meanwhile, in the Sadiqabad police station area of Rawalpindi, law enforcement agencies launched an operation and arrested 24 Afghan nationals who were reportedly residing illegally. Authorities said legal proceedings have been initiated against the detained individuals.
