The Pakistan Cricket Board has issued a strict warning to players over violations of central contract terms, imposing new restrictions on social media activity.
According to sources, cricketers have been directed not to share any social media posts without prior approval from the media department and to strictly adhere to central contract regulations.
Sources added that players’ managers have also been briefed on the new guidelines to avoid any violations. The PCB has clearly stated that political posts will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
It was further reported that controversial or unauthorized posts may result in a fine of at least Rs10 million, sending a strong message to players.
