Security forces carried out two separate operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 13 militants, while clearance operations continue in the region.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the forces conducted intelligence-based operations in Bara and Bannu. In Bara, 10 militants were killed, while 3 more were eliminated during an operation in Bannu district.
The ISPR stated that search and clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate remaining militant elements and ensure peace in the area.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the successful operations, stating that they demonstrated professional excellence in eliminating terrorists in Bara and Bannu.
He added that the security forces are standing like a solid wall against terrorism and are effectively fulfilling their responsibilities for maintaining national peace.
