The United States government has recently revoked the green cards and visas of certain Iranian nationals, marking a significant development in light of security concerns.
According to foreign media reports, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio approved the revocation of green cards for foreign nationals allegedly linked to the Iranian system.
Reports indicate that the Trump administration has cancelled the green cards or visas of approximately four Iranian nationals, who are said to have ties with the current or former Iranian government.
It has also been reported that two of these individuals have been taken into custody by immigration authorities, and they may face deportation.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated in a recent statement that the individuals in question are no longer eligible for lawful permanent residency and will not be permitted entry into the United States.
