Despite the ceasefire between the United States, Iran, and Israel, Asian stock markets witnessed a negative trend today, reflecting cautious investor sentiment.
According to market data, Japan’s Nikkei and the Shanghai Composite Index declined by around 0.8 percent, while South Korea’s KOSPI index dropped by up to 1.76 percent.
Similarly, India’s Sensex recorded a decline of 1 percent, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell by 0.4 percent, indicating broader regional pressure.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange showed a mixed trend on the fourth trading day of the week, with investors engaging in cautious trading activity.
It is worth noting that the benchmark KSE-100 Index had closed at 165,811 points at the end of the previous trading session, reflecting the recent market direction.
