Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal are making continuous and comprehensive efforts at all levels to help resolve the ongoing issue between the United States and Iran and to reduce regional tensions.
During a meeting with US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker, detailed discussions were held on the latest regional situation, while diplomatic efforts regarding the second round of talks in Islamabad were also reviewed.
The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining diplomatic channels for a lasting resolution to the US-Iran conflict, while the Interior Minister appreciated the move to extend the ceasefire, acknowledging the role of Donald Trump in this regard.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the extension of the ceasefire is a positive development, and the Prime Minister along with the Field Marshal are continuing efforts at every level for a peaceful resolution, expressing hope that all parties will give diplomacy a chance and move towards a peaceful solution.
