Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that due to timely and effective government measures, no energy crisis has emerged in the country despite the prevailing regional situation, and the situation remains under control.
A key meeting on energy security was chaired by the Prime Minister and attended by federal ministers Musadik Malik, Ahad Cheema, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Owais Leghari, Atta Tarar, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Ahsan Iqbal, and Adviser on Privatization Muhammad Ali, during which various aspects of energy supply and security were reviewed in detail.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani, Special Assistant Haroon Akhtar and relevant government officials, who briefed the participants on ongoing measures and future strategy in the energy sector.
