The rapid depletion of RLNG reserves in the country has intensified the gas crisis, creating increasing challenges for both domestic consumers and various sectors that rely heavily on gas supply.
According to sources, gas supply to household consumers has also been significantly reduced, causing difficulties in meeting daily needs and leading to a rise in public complaints across different areas.
Sources further stated that the overall gas supply has dropped to around 700 million cubic feet per day, compared to approximately 1200 million cubic feet per day before tensions between Iran and the United States escalated, highlighting the severity of the current shortfall.
According to Sui Northern sources, the gas shortfall has exceeded 600 million cubic feet, posing a major challenge for the energy sector and impacting supply management at multiple levels.
On the other hand, Sui Gas authorities maintain that full gas supply is being ensured during all three main meal times, although ground realities and consumer complaints suggest otherwise.
