Britain’s King Charles III and Queen Camilla have arrived in the United States on a four-day official visit, where they were received at the White House by US President Donald Trump in a formal welcome ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, President Trump said that King Charles’s visit to the United States is a positive development and assured that he would be fully safe during his stay, describing the visit as significant for strengthening bilateral relations.
According to reports, King Charles will participate in events marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, highlighting the long-standing ties between the two nations.
During the visit, King Charles is also scheduled to address the US Congress and will visit the 9/11 memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic attacks.
