India has signed a deal with Russia worth over 280 billion rupees for the purchase of long-range missiles, aiming to further strengthen its defense capabilities.
According to reports, the agreement includes the acquisition of 300 R-37M missiles, with deliveries expected to begin within the next 12 months.
Foreign media reports also suggest that India is considering changes in its defense strategy and may cancel plans for additional purchases of Rafale aircraft.
The report indicates that India may prioritize Russian defense systems along with greater focus on local integration and defense self-reliance.
