Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the PPP is emerging as the largest political party in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections and will seek to form the next government.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Bilawal Bhutto thanked voters for their trust and expressed confidence in the party’s performance.
Gilgit-Baltistan mein teeron ki barish. The Pakistan Peoples Party is emerging as the single largest party and we will be attempting to form government. I am grateful to the people for their trust and congratulations to Jiyalas on their victory.

According to unofficial and provisional results received so far, 12 out of 24 assembly seats have been decided.
The Pakistan Peoples Party has secured seven seats, while independent candidates have won three seats. Pakistan Muslim League-N and Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen have each won one seat.
PPP candidates were successful in constituencies 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 19. PML-N secured constituency 22, while Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen won constituency 8.
Independent candidates emerged victorious in constituencies 3, 23, and 24.
Results from the remaining constituencies are awaited and will determine the final political landscape and government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan.
