US President Donald Trump has claimed that his policies have placed Iran under significant pressure, saying the country is now in a weakened position.
Criticizing a congressional resolution aimed at limiting military action against Iran, Trump described the measure as untimely and meaningless.
He argued that some senators had made his job more difficult but insisted that he would ultimately achieve his objectives.
“I always get the job done,” Trump said, expressing confidence in his approach toward Iran.
Meanwhile, the US Senate approved a resolution seeking to restrict military action against Iran. The measure passed by a vote of 50 to 48 after previously being approved by the House of Representatives earlier this month.
Political analysts say the resolution reflects divisions within Washington over how to deal with Iran, with some lawmakers favoring a tougher stance while others advocate diplomatic engagement.
Experts believe that statements from senior officials and legislative actions related to Iran could have broader implications for regional stability and future US-Iran relations.
