Flour prices have increased further across Pakistan, with the maximum price of a 20-kilogram bag reaching Rs2,900.
According to a document issued by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, consumers in Karachi are paying the highest flour prices in the country, with a 20kg bag costing up to Rs2,900.
The price of a 20kg flour bag has reached Rs2,800 in Islamabad, Quetta and Khuzdar, while consumers in Peshawar are paying up to Rs2,750.
According to the bureau, the price stands at Rs2,747 in Rawalpindi, Rs2,740 in Hyderabad and Rs2,700 in Bannu.
A 20kg flour bag costs up to Rs2,560 in Sukkur, Rs2,500 in Larkana, Rs2,420 in Multan and Rs2,400 in Gujranwala and Bahawalpur.
The price has reached Rs2,333 in Sialkot and Rs2,300 in Faisalabad.
In Lahore, a 20kg flour bag is selling for up to Rs2,250, while the price in Sargodha has reached Rs2,240.
