Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has responded to US President Donald Trump’s threats, saying that Iran will defend every inch of its territory at all costs.
In a televised statement, President Pezeshkian strongly criticized President Donald Trump’s remarks, asking whether Trump had achieved his objectives on the battlefield. He also questioned those seeking to divide Iran, asking what they had ultimately gained from such efforts.
Pezeshkian said Iran would defend every inch of its homeland through concrete actions and would take all necessary measures to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament National Security Committee spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei said in a statement that the enemy had officially entered the war by violating all provisions of the memorandum of understanding, adding that the memorandum was no longer valid or enforceable.
Separately, the Iranian Parliament approved the Strategic Action Plan for the Security and Sustainable Development of the Strait of Hormuz.
