Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed it targeted a US Special Operations Command Center in the Al-Tanf area of Syria as part of the eleventh wave of “Operation Nasr 2.”
According to the IRGC statement, the attack was carried out in response to the killing of Iranian military personnel in the Bampur area of Iranshahr.
The statement claimed that the operation destroyed a US radar system and targeted several helicopters used for special operations.
The IRGC also claimed that a large number of US military personnel were killed in the attack.
However, US authorities have not officially confirmed or responded to these claims.
The IRGC further asserted that Iranian forces continue to maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz and warned that as long as US military actions continue, no oil or gas shipments would be allowed to leave the region.
