Pakistan foiled an attempted airspace incursion by the Afghan Taliban regime and destroyed all drones sent toward its airspace.
According to security sources, eight drones were launched toward Pakistan’s airspace this morning. The Pakistan Army’s air defence system shot down all of them. Four drones were brought down near the Torkham border, while four others were destroyed in the mountainous border areas adjoining Kohat.
Sources said the incursion was evidence of the Afghan Taliban regime’s direct support and patronage of terrorists. Last night, Pakistan’s armed forces had also destroyed Afghan Taliban regime positions and hideouts in the Kurram sector.
