Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has stated that if the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gains a majority, then the Prime Minister will be the one desired by PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.
During a media conversation, he expressed his views on seat adjustment in the upcoming general elections. He said, “It is my personal opinion that the PML-N should not form an electoral alliance with anyone. Seat adjustment is possible, but we should keep our options open. The party has not made any decision regarding political alliances or seat adjustment.”
Regarding Nawaz Sharif’s return, Rana Sanaullah said that Nawaz Sharif will return to the country before the elections, and the date of his return is determined by Nawaz Sharif himself. Nawaz Sharif has accepted the party’s request to lead in the elections. Nawaz Sharif will return 60 to 90 days before the general elections.
Critiquing the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he said, “The Chairman of PTI has played with national politics. He wanted to exploit the incident for the country. The Chairman of PTI himself became a victim of the incident.”
The Federal Minister further said, “In 2018, we all came together in one place. If we come together in another place now, what is there to be worried about? They have turned their own weapon against themselves. They will understand slowly and gradually.”
