Head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has called for a nationwide protest across the country on Sunday against the incident in Sweden.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that there are continuous incidents of Islamophobia in Sweden, which are causing distress to every individual of the Muslim community.
He questioned why the West is exhibiting narrow-mindedness and termed the claim of freedom of expression as a rejection of such freedom that endangers tolerance.
The head of the government alliance had appealed to the nation to protest, and on Sunday, a protest will be held across the country, with the largest demonstration taking place in Karachi.
