The CPPA has called for an increase in the fuel adjustment of February 2024, which will result in an additional burden of more than 40 billion on consumers, including sales tax.
In the request from CPPA, it has been said that 6 billion 87 crore 60 lakh units of electricity were generated in February, the production of electricity from water was 24.77% in the last month.
CPPA said that 13.94 percent of electricity was generated from local coal, 1.89 percent from imported coal, 11.04 percent from gas and 20.33 percent from LNG, and 23.29 percent from nuclear fuel.
