Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has decided to support independent candidate Faisal Vawda in the Senate elections to be held on April 2.
After considering various options, MQM Pakistan has taken final decisions on the issue of party ticket submission and withdrawal for the Senate elections to be held on April 2.
MQM’s ad hoc committee after long consultation decided to give ticket to Aamir Chishti for the general seat of Sindh for the Senate elections while Faisal Wada will be supported as an independent candidate.
In the Senate elections, MQM Pakistan can easily win one seat on the general seat, while Faisal Vawda’s success as an independent candidate will require the votes of other parties along with MQM.
Aamir Chishti, MQM’s nominated candidate in the Senate, has valuable services in the field of education, finance and energy.
