Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced free scholarships for students aspiring to pursue their education abroad. A dedicated cell has been established at the Governor’s House to facilitate those interested in availing of these scholarships.
The Governor stated that students from Sindh are eligible to participate in this scholarship program. Those who meet the merit criteria will be sent abroad for their studies on these scholarships. He emphasized that the country’s economic situation has weakened the nation, and divisions based on ethnicity, sect, and language have further fragmented society. Despite living in an economic hub, residents face numerous issues, including shortages of electricity, water, and gas. The Governor House remains open to everyone.
Governor Tessori also criticized the political system, saying that people vote for political parties, criticize them afterward, and then wait for the next one. He claimed that he had reformed the system at the Governor’s House. Over the past 20 months, 2.2 million people have visited the Governor’s House. He proudly stated that the doors of the Governor’s House are now open 24/7. Furthermore, he mentioned that the wall of the Governor House has been demolished to construct a gate for an IT university.
