Islamabad: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto says that they are putting the burden of inflation on the nation at the request of the IMF. Negotiations are going on between our Finance Minister and the IMF.
Addressing a ceremony related to the United Nations Development Program, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that providing protection to the flood victims is the responsibility of the International Financial Institutions. Pakistan has never gone through this kind of difficulties, our problems and difficulties are many, we are working day and night to overcome the problems.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that more than 30 million people have been affected by the flood and crops standing on 500,000 acres have been destroyed. Such a calamity has never happened before in history, one out of every 7 citizens was affected by flood in Sindh, 100 km part of Sindh became a lake.
Construction of houses has been started in the flood affected areas and the construction work will be completed in 2 to 3 years.I ask the Chief Minister of Sindh to immediately give the ownership rights of the houses to the victims, the federal government has also promised to help Sindh in the rehabilitation works.
