Peshawar: MOU Signed Between PSL Franchise Peshawar Zalmi and Kuwait Cricket.
An MOU has been signed between Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi and Kuwait Cricket, under which, through an exchange program, Pakistani players will also represent Kuwait’s cricket team.
Peshawar Zalmi will continue to provide young cricketers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with opportunities to showcase their talents and offer them every possible facility.
Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting young talent. The MOU was signed at Hayatabad Sports Complex by Peshawar Zalmi’s Chief Operating Officer Mian Abbas Laik and Kuwait Cricket’s Director General Sajid Ashraf. Muhammad Yousuf and Mohammad Akram were also present on the occasion.
Players for Kuwait Cricket were also selected through the talent hunt and trials held in Peshawar. From Zalmi’s trials earlier this month, 100 shortlisted cricketers participated in the trials for the Kuwait Cricket team.
