Multan: Pakistan is likely to make one change for the second Test match against the West Indies.
According to sources, Imam-ul-Haq is expected to be included in the lineup for the Multan Test. The selection committee and team management want to include an additional batter. If Imam is selected, he will open the innings alongside Mohammad Huraira.
Sources further reveal that if Imam-ul-Haq joins the team, fast bowler Khurram Shahzad will be dropped.
It is worth mentioning that the second and final Test between Pakistan and the West Indies starts in Multan on Saturday. Pakistan won the first of the two-match Test series. In the opening Test—also held in Multan—Pakistan defeated the West Indies by 127 runs on the third day.
