The repatriation of Afghan nationals residing in Pakistan continues, as 634 more illegal Afghan migrants were deported in the last 24 hours.
According to a report by the Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 825 Afghan citizens were sent back to Afghanistan yesterday. Among them, 823 individuals were returned via the Torkham border and 2 through Angoor Adda.
The data shows that out of the total, 634 were living illegally in Pakistan, while 191 individuals holding Afghan registration cards voluntarily opted to return.
The report further stated that since September 2023, a total of 546,285 Afghan nationals have returned to Afghanistan in two phases.
