The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast an increase in heat intensity and temperature in Karachi starting tomorrow.
According to the Meteorological Department, the city’s temperature is expected to rise by 1 to 2 degrees from tomorrow, which may push Karachi’s temperature to reach up to 40 degrees Celsius.
How Will Karachi’s Weather Be Today?
In the next 24 hours, Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid. The department stated that the maximum temperature is likely to remain around 37 degrees Celsius, while it may feel more than 40 degrees during the day.
In the last 24 hours, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius. Sea breeze is currently blowing from the southwest at a speed of 19 km/h, with a humidity level of 69%.
Rain Forecast in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
On the other hand, various districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to receive rainfall with thunderstorms today. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), windstorms and thunderstorms with rain are expected in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Additionally, there are chances of rainfall in Lahore, Narowal, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Mianwali, and Sialkot. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thunderstorms and rain have been forecasted in Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mansehra, and Abbottabad.
